Graduations
Kristen Leigh Whitaker of Fryeburg, Maine was awarded a Bachelors of Science Degree at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
She was a graduate of one of the largest graduating classes in USM history.
The Speaker for USM's 128th Commencement was Roger Wilkins of George Mason University. A National Civil Rights Leader and one of the Preeminent Social Commentators of our time.
Kristen majored in Finance. She plans to work at L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine, as their Associate Budget Analyst.
Kristen received Special Honors of Phi Kappa Phi, a National Interdisciplinary Honor Society.
She is also a member of Corporate Partners.
Kristen graduated from Fryeburg Academy in the year 2004 and is the daughter of Corinne Whitaker of East Conway, New Hampshire and Alan Whitaker of Fryeburg, Maine.
